welcome to my valley

one of my mutuals (which, by the way, mutual feels like such an impersonal term, this is someone i've been mutually posting alongside for years, we just haven't talked one-on-one), lilly, coincidentally the best person at being online to have ever been online, made a post about how everyone should start a blog, and you know what? you know fuckin, uh, what? everyone should start a blog. i'd wanted to start a blog for a while but always got caught on trying to make a neocities thing work, but, fuck that. blogspot dot com babey. why not?

so i've started

an image of the logo for Connor's Desolate Valley, a very cool image i made on cooltext.org
FUCK yeah

a place where i can post about fuckin uh, what ever. whatever i want. it's my desolate valley, it's not yours.

i love old internet. i deeply love old internet. websites? when everything was websites? hell yeah. i think a lot of the biggest problems, just like, in general are the fact that people aren't on websites anymore, that they're all stuffed together on the same platforms- platforms that are largely not big enough to fit everyone on there. it should just be youtube and maybe twitch and people talk about what's on youtube and maybe twitch on their own forums, where they only meet the other people in those forums. that's how it should be

anyways. i'm digressing. probably a lot of digressing to come, honestly.

there isn't going to be as much life update stuff here as sites like this probably usually have just because my life is i think pretty boring right now- i go to work, i go home, i pet my cat, i go back to work. but every time i have a thought that maybe should be a blog-sized thought- or every time i don't have a thought but would love to have one- it's gonna go here. in my desolate valley.

a low-quality webcam image of me sneering on the camera while a cooltext.org image says "Welcome to my valley"
why am i sneering while i'm welcoming you? i don't know. maybe that's why the valley is desolate
